A step by step survival kit:       
                                       

1. Make an appointment with ESN in advance if you want to be picked up at the train or bus station in Antwerp.
2. Make an appointment with your landlord for access to your room. Go to your room to drop off your luggage.  
3. If you have signed up for the Dutch EILCCourse you should meet up at City campus on the date scheduled. 
4. An International Relations Officer will welcome you at the EILC course on the first course day and give you more information.   
5. Arrive in time and do not miss the Orientation Days (19-20 September 2013 or 6-7 February 2014) if you do not attend the EILC.
6. Pass by the Student Administration Office for final registration at the University of Antwerp in order to receive your student ID, login & password. Do not forget to complete the online preregistration form and bring the signed document with you.
7. Do not forget to register with the municipality/department of foreigners within 8 working days after arrival (through the International Office) if you will be staying in Antwerp for longer than 3 months. (ONLY OBLIGATORY FOR NON-EU STUDENTS!) More information about the procedure
8. Attend the academic information session of your faculty shortly after the Orientation Days. The exact time/place will be communicated during the Orientation Days or by e-mail.
