The Faculty of Business and Economics works with Randstad, a human resources service provider, to connect students with the business world. Together, we offer the 'Randstad Young Talents' programme, which focusses on students and young graduates.
Randstad consultants are present at our campus to boost your career. Randstad has a very wide portfolio of clients from small- and medium-sized companies to big, international companies in different sectors.
Service on three domains
- Coaching and counselling: this can involve coaching when writing your CV or motivation letter, and guidance about employment, the job market in Belgium, etc.
- The consultants can help you find study-related internships or student jobs.
- They guide final-year and recent graduates to the job market so that employment is more differentiated and more customised to the talents and expectations of the students.
Supply Chain Planner (Master Business Engineering: Management Information Systems) - Atlas Copco
"I am employed as a Supply Chain Planner at Atlas Copco. I replace one of the employees and take over his tasks one day a week. As a Supply Chain Planner, I I have to be in frequent contact with suppliers to make sure there are no shortages. I like working at Atlas Copco because it is a nice team to work with. Furthermore, I can gain more practical experience as a result".
