Doing a PhD at the Faculty of Science is strongly related with the research in each Department. Candidates are expected to extensively broaden their general and in particular their specialist knowledge in their chosen field of research. Conducting independent research is essential. A PhD can be done in either English or Dutch.
The Department of Physics regularly has PhD vacancies. You can find them via the academic personnel vacancies or via the research group websites.
