The coronavirus COVID-19 is sprading all over the world. The University of Antwerp requests the collaboration of all its employees to slow the further spread of the virus. Here we give you an overview of the most recent decisions in alphabetical order. UAntwerp students can read all the measures and more specific information from their faculty on Blackboard.
The June exam period will indeed go ahead at UAntwerp. We decided to postpone the start of the exam period by one week. This means it will start on 1 June (Pentecost Monday) and end on 3 July. We keep students informed via Blackboard.
All exams, including computer exams, written exams and oral exams, will of course be organised safely and in accordance with the guidelines that apply at that time. We assume that students will be allowed to travel to campus to take exams and that oral exams may also be organised, on condition that strict social distancing is respected. Safe organisation means that students will be seated much further apart from each other and that the movements of students around the buildings will be planned carefully. In addition to the university buildings, large group exams will also take place at Antwerp Expo. Exam schedules can still be adjusted.
