The Research Board

In addition to the chair, the Research Board has 20 active members and just as many substitutes. Members of the Research Board are appointed for a four-year period. The composition of the Research Board reflects the disciplines practised at the university.

The Research Board is the highest advisory body for all academic and administrative matters relating to scientific research, scientific policy and funding.

Bureau of the Research Board

The bureau of the Research Board consists of the chair, the two vice-chairs and one representative of each discipline.

The bureau helps prepare the Research Board's meetings. In turn, the Research Board can delegate some of its tasks to the bureau.
