In these one-hour sessions, we aim to create a platform for disseminating good educational practices within our university.
During the lunchtime sessions, we first offer a guest speaker the opportunity to present an educational practice that has been implemented in his or her own training programme. This session is followed by a critical dialogue between the guest speaker and the audience.
The examples of good educational practices are always linked to current educational topics. These topics may be situated at programme level (e.g. language policy, testing policy) or at the level of the individual lecturer (e.g. continuous assessment, activating methods and assignments).
In order to optimise the interaction during these lunch meetings, as well as the transfer of good practices, we invite a select target audience from the University of Antwerp to each session and limit the number of participants.
All teaching staff receive an invitation to the lunchtime sessions through the Education newsletter.
Participation is free, but prior registration is required. You can register electronically through the application form for the relevant session.
