Postgraduate of Energy & Climate

The postgraduate ENERGY & CLIMATE 2019-2020 starts on 18 September 2019

The University of Antwerp offers special courses on ENERGY & CLIMATE issues, like:

  • Reduce harmful effects on nature and human beings by ongoing climate change.
     
  • Bend troubling energy use towards sustainable renewable sources and efficient technologies.
     
  • Obtain novel disruptive answers by revisiting basic concepts, add new perspectives and evidence.
     
  • Commute between theory and practice, as reinforcing steps of progress in knowing and acting.
     
  • Find workable policies and actions by linking technical, economic, social, legal and political insight.

The participant audience is multidisciplinary; so is the team of teachers.

Teaching covers five modules of 30 hours lectures, followed by a multiple-choice test. The full course of 180 hours [30 ECTS] runs during 35 weeks, between Sept.18, 2019 and June 30, 2020. Participants may add a 6 ECTS paper or 24 ECTS training program to the full course. Composing an individual menu of modules is feasible. The programme is composed of 5 modules.
