Divorce Conference 2017: 5 - 7 October

15th Meeting of the European Network for the Sociological and Demographic Study of Divorce

The Research Centre for Longitudinal and Life Course Studies (CLLS) will be hosting the 15th  Meeting of the European Network for the Sociological and Demographic Study of Divorce. The conference will take place in Antwerp, Belgium on 5th-7th October.

The conference will start on the morning of the 5th, and ends on the afternoon of the 7th. The conference venue is located in the heart of Antwerp, close to public transport and hotels. There is no conference fee; participants only cover their own travel and lodging expenses.

Keynote: Dr. Robert E. Emery

At the start of the conference, on October 5,  Robert E. Emery will present a keynote on “Does Parental Conflict Influence Parent-Child Contact? Empirical and Legal Questions”.  More information can be found here.

The evening prior to the conference, Professor Emery will also give a public evening lecture on “Two Homes, One Childhood: Protecting Children from the Fallout of Divorce”. This opening session is organised in cooperation with the University Centre Saint Ignatius Antwerp (UCSIA) .
