The conference days will take place at the University of Antwerp (Belgium), on the Stadscampus in the Antwerp city centre.

Law and Development Research Conference: 21 - 22 September 2017


conference fee of EUR 150 applies for the Law and Development component (21 - 22 September).

This covers all conference lunches and coffee breaks, a conference dinner (including cultural activity), and the closing reception.

Participants are asked to make their own financial and logistical arrangements for accommodation, flights and visas.


A limited number of scholarships are available for participants who are nationals of - and reside  in - the following countries:

Africa: Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, DR Congo, Ethiopia, Guinea, Kenya, Madagascar, Mali, Morocco, Mozambique, Niger, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zimbabwe.

Asia: Cambodia, Indonesia, Palestinian Territories, Philippines, Vietnam.

Latin America: Bolivia, Cuba, Ecuador, Guatemala, Haiti, Nicaragua,  Peru
