As a member of the Scientific Research Network  (SRN) on governance in private firms, the  University of Antwerp is pleased to announce this call for papers for the third Workshop On Governance. As the previous editions, this workshop aims at bringing together junior and senior researchers in the fields of corporate governance, family firms, entrepreneurship, and entrepreneurial finance to present and discuss current research papers or abstracts in a cordial environment. We would especially like to attract papers at the cross-border of the aforementioned fields, but we invite all empirical and conceptual work that broadly fits into one of these fields. While the workshop is targeted towards Ph.D. and Post-Doc researchers, also senior SRN members are encouraged to participate in the workshop.

To facilitate networking and fruitful exchange, the workshop will be limited to the SRN members. We invite two types of submission: (1) full papers and (2) extended abstracts (300-500 words). Each full paper will get a discussant assigned, which will initiate the post-presentation discussion. Because great workshops require great discussants, we expect that those scholars who submit a paper will also be willing to act as a discussant.

Keynote Speaker

Silvio Vismara (University of Bergamo) will provide a keynote talk in a plenary session. Silvio’s research focuses on IPOs and crowdfunding. For more information, you can visit
