Analysis of categorical data with logistic regression - online

This course gives a practical, non-mathematical introduction to the use of logistic regression in the analysis of categorical outcomes.

Logistic regression is a widely used technique for the analysis of categorical data, offering increased flexibility compared to the traditional analysis of crosstables. A binary outcome can be predicted using one or more categorical variables, continuous variables or combinations thereof.

The course is offered online using a combination of instruction videos, self-study exercises, online Q&A and livestream teaching. Exercises are carried out using the software package SPSS. See this instruction video to install SPSS on your PC.

To obtain the credit for the doctoral school, there is a mandatory evaluation through a take-home task at the end of the course (regardless of your faculty).
