In one of more sessions, you try to answer the questions "who am I?", "what am I good at?" and "what do I want?". It is a process of getting to know yourself, and building a good basis for finding out more and fine-tuning your options. The Study Advice and Student Counselling Service has a couple of tools that might help you with this (both in Dutch):
- Holland's Self-Directed Search: on the basis of a questionnaire, you receive a personal RIASEC code and a list of matching professions
- “Kijk op kiezen”: workbook that guides you through the process of choosing a course. You can also buy it from STIP and start using it on your own
For students who have already started a course at the University of Antwerp but are having second thoughts.
