Online Summer School  |  19 - 29 August 2022

This digital summer school approaches the sustainable city from a profoundly interdisciplinary perspective - bridging natural sciences, urban technology and social sciences and humanities. It examines the relationship between the introduction of new types of analysis and new technologies, on the one hand, and social, economic and political dynamics, on the other. This digital summer school takes place from 22 August - 29 August 2022 and is preceded by a preparatory module from 15 - 19 August, during which primary insights will be given so participants can duly prepare for the course.

Target audience: Postgraduates, PhD students and professionals in urban studies, related fields, science and technology with focus on sustainability. We especially invite interested applicants from the following countries to submit their candidacy: Greece, Bulgaria, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Ukraine, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia and Slovenia. These participants can qualify for a scholarship by UERA. Scholarships are also available for UAntwerp students and refugees residing in Belgium.

Registration deadline: 31.05.2022
