Prof. Daniel Cuypers in Ljubljana, Slovenia
6 - 10 May 2013

Daniel Cuypers was a guest at the University of Ljubljana, a new partner in our network. He taught guest lectures in discrimination law, in the course of prof. Barbara Kresal at the Faculty of Social Work and the Law Faculty of the University of Ljubljana.

"Few Belgian students find their way to Slovenia, but this might change, once they discover the potential of this small mountainous state (e.g. for skiing). The green country has only two million inhabitants. Slovenia is amongst the most developed new European Member States. It scores highly on the “egalitarian index”. Special landmark of the lovely capital Ljubljana is the city centre with its three bridges, symbolizing the country itself as a bridge between old and new Europe, northern and southern Europe. Like other small nations with an exotic tongue, the inhabitants speak many languages, and most of them speak fluently English."

Prof. Dirk Vanheule on yearly teaching visit in Brno, Czech Republic
15 - 19 April 2013

Dirk Vanheule has a tradition of teaching in Brno. Thanks to his good relations, we developed a student exchange programme, and since 2006 we receive students from Masaryk University on a yearly basis. In 2011 the first Antwerp student went to Brno and returned home very satisfied with the experience.
