Various commissions provide support to the Faculty Board, the Educational Commissions and the departments in their tasks and responsibilities. Sometimes these commissions have certain delegated decision-making powers but they often have more of an advisory role.

The most important policy support commissions include:

• Interfaculty Doctoral Commission (FADOSI)
• Internationalisation Commission
