How to get to IOB from Brussels Airport (Zaventem)

Train

From Brussels Airport, you can take the train to Antwerp Central station ('Antwerpen Centraal'). The train station is located at basement level -1 within the airport. There are 2 direct trains every hour from Brussels Airport to Antwerp; the trip takes approximately 30 minutes and costs 13.30 € for a single journey. Buy your ticket in advance at the ticket counter or vending machine. When arriving at Antwerp Central station, you can either take a taxi in front of the station or walk to the University city campus (15 minutes' walk).

Airport Express (shuttle bus)

Alternatively, you can take the Airport Express shuttle bus to Antwerp. The Airport Express takes you to Antwerp in 45 minutes; the trip costs 10 € - you can book your ticket through the website. Payment is done in cash to the driver or through bank card. At the airport, just follow the bus signs to level 0. The bus leaves every two hours from 3:45 until 23:45 and drops you off at the central bus interchange at Rooseveltplaats. Seats can be booked in advance on the website, but in general this is not necessary. Upon arrival, you can either take a taxi or just walk to the University city campus (5 minutes' walk). 

IOB is located on the city campus ('Stadscampus') of the University of Antwerp. The city campus is only a 15-minute walk from Antwerp Central station.
