Alumni networks

Facilitating contact between the more than 1,300 IOB alumni, current students and staff is one of the main goals of the IOB alumni policy. Both face-to-face and virtual networks can helps us keep in touch with each other, exchange information and share experiences.

Several types of communication channels facilitate our keeping in touch with and stimulating networks among alumni members. IOB alumni can keep in touch through the IOB Facebook pageLinkedIn and can stay up to date on what is going on at IOB through IOB’s alumni magazine, Exchange to Change.

Moreover, to allow for more structural alumni networks and to stimulate alumni ownership, IOB has started with the setup of IOB alumni chapters in some of the IOB ‘core’ countries. IOB has started alumni chapters/networks in Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, the Philippines and Nicaragua. Other chapters will still follow.
