This monthly seminar will consist of two parts. The first part of the seminar discuss the relationship between the notion of sequence and the magic lantern. The discussion will be based on the presentation of two articles: “The Eventfullness of Non-Events” by Peter Hühn and “Le récit dans l’image: séquence, intrigue et configuration” by Raphaël Baroni. The second part of the seminar will be dedicated to feedback on Marte Van Hassel's ongoing work.
