First of al, a survey will be conducted among adolescents of 12 to 15 years old. These data will allow us to determine the relationship between celebrity news consumption and several online behaviors. Following the survey, an experiment will be organized which allows us to better approach the causality of this relationship.
During the second stage of the project, another experiment will be set up, aimed at determining the impact of celebrity testimonials on cyberbullying. This experiment consists of exposure to three different types of bullying testiminials, followed by measures of online behaviors. Using this data will allow to draw some conclusions about the effectiveness of bully testiminials as a prevention- and interventionstrategy.
