The registration fee includes all course materials, lunches and coffee breaks on course days, accommodation nearby the training venue, and participation in social activities. 

Candidates will receive payment instructions after being notified of their positive selection result. Your registration is only complete after the registration fee is received on the university's bank account. 


Each IDEALiTER partner institution will award 2 scholarships for their students. Selected students receive a registration fee waiver and an allowance of € 150 for travel expenses. 

If you are an undergraduate student in one of the IDEALiTER institutions, please contact your local faculty for further information on how to apply for these scholarships. 


Cancellation by the organisation

Should the summer school be cancelled by the organiser for organisational reasons or as a result of force majeure, the organiser will refund the tuition fee. Claims for further liabilities or damages are excluded.

Cancellation by the participant

If the participant cancels more than 3 weeks before the start of the summer school, 50% of the tuition fee can be reimbursed. If the participant cancels within 10 days before the start of the summer school, € 50 of the tuition fee will be refunded. This will also be so in case of changing travel regulations and/or in case of a positive test for covid-19 before or during the summer school. All refunds are made in euros. The organisation cannot refund any shortfalls due to exchange rate fluctuations or bank charges.
