As a new entrant into the labour market, you have not yet earned the right to the same amount of holidays as most working people. Fortunately, you do have the right to ‘youth holidays’. You need to meet certain conditions to take advantage of these holidays. For example, you need to be under 25 years old and have worked for one month in your graduation year. There are also other types of leave, such as parental leave and social leave. You can read more about how and when you are eligible for the various forms of leave on the Federal Government website.
