The more digitalised (self) taxation model that has been proposed by the OECD (so-called tax administration 3.0 model) entails several challenges and opportunities that require further fundamental and applied research (see also DigiTax conference on December 8, 2022). The topic demands an interdisciplinary approach including computer science, law, psychology, busines economics and other relevant disciplines.

DigiTax wants to involve stakeholders such as end users, including tax administrations or other public governments, industry and consultancy in the academic research.

Therefor DigiTax will organise workshops on specific tax administration 3.0 related topics to explore possible research collaboration between (1) academia, (2) end users and (3) industry/consultancy. The workshop will be held in 2023.

Everyone interested in being invited to these workshop can contact prof. Sylvie De Raedt, research manager, cc Sam Van Der Vlugt, and indicate:

  • the tax administration 3.0 related topic you are interested in
  • the expertise you would like to bring in (for academic partners and industrial or consultancy partners)
  • the challenges you are facing in the digital transformation of taxation models (for end users and industrial or consultancy partners).

With this open call Digitax wished to broaden its existing network and seek new collaboration partners.
