Association of Legislation, Interuniversitair Centrum voor Wetgeving, the University of Zürich, the Institute for Legal and Political Sciences/Lisbon Centre for Research in Public Law of Lisbon Law School/University of Lisbon, and Actore – Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence.

23 April 2018 - Expert Seminar: Constitutional asymmetry in multi-tiered multinational systems
The seminar brings together academics to explore and discuss association between constitutional asymmetry, multi-tiered systems, and multinationalism. The objectives of the seminar are three folded: Detecting constitutional asymmetry within the chosen systems; explaining the historical background behind constitutional asymmetries and the logic behind constitutional asymmetries; and linking constitutional asymmetry to multinationalism.

The Migration and Migrants Law Chair (Leerstoel Migratie- en migrantenrecht) presents a series of legal lectures by the Center for Migration and Intercultural Studies (CeMIS) in collaboration with the Research Group Government and Law of the Law Faculty of the University of Antwerp. During three study afternoons (March 13th, April 24th and May 15th - from 1.30 pm to 5 pm) experienced speakers will discuss developments in EU law, human rights, residence regulations, civil law and social law. The lectures will be held in Dutch.
