Bio
After working as a researcher for three years on short-term external projects at the University of Antwerp (i.e. Faculty of Design Sciences), Michelle Bylemans started her PhD in February 2018. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a master’s degree in Urbanism and Spatial Planning. She used her knowledge of both disciplines for multiple redesign or re-use projects, but also other disciplines were consulted. The research, design and communication skills that she gained through her years of working as a researcher, will be of great value during her PhD.
