The NANOcenter invites partners from both industry and academia to join the efforts in performing cross-cutting multidisciplinary research in the field of advanced materials science and nanotechnology applications.

Due to versatility of the characterization and modeling methods used within the NANOcenter consortium, a very broad range of potential applications is envisaged:

  • Nanoparticles, nanotubes, core-shell structures
  • Two-dimensional crystals like graphene, silicene, BN, MoS2
  • Battery materials
  • Thin films, heterostructures and interfaces
  • Ceramics, semiconductors, metals and alloys
  • Zeolites, catalytic materials
  • Photovoltaics, transparent conducting oxides
  • Composites
  • Polymers, biomaterials
