Interactions between users and products

Human Centred Design aims to comprehend and optimise the physical, sensory, cognitive and emotional interactions between users and products. 

  • Design for Ergonomics: From physical interactions, design methods for ergonomics, 3D-anthropometry/shape modelling, 4D anthropometry and mass customization are drawn.
  • Design for Interactions: From cognitive and emotional interactions, design methods for reducing stigmatising product features and for enriching interactional characteristics of digital products are drawn.
