Internships, Bachelor, Master and Doctoral students
Our group is active in education at all levels: from local school contacts to the Wetenschapsdag and the Chemistry Olympiads, from student internships and Erasmus placements to postdoctoral training of international scholars.
Bachelor and Master students who chose our group spend a period in our laboratory, as part of their course at the University of Antwerp.
We also regularly host external (international) students for internships, Erasmus or COST placements or the experimental part of their Masters thesis.
PhD students typically apply for a fellowship e.g. from Flemish funding bodies such as IWT or FWO or from the EU (Marie Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions), which will guarantee their funding for up to 4 years. They also become part of the Antwerp Doctoral School. We sometimes also have positions to fill, which will be advertised.
