University Courses
Members of the group organise or assist in multiple courses in the Bachelor and Masters of Medicine, Pharmaceutical Care, Epidemiology and Biomedical Sciences.
Master Thesis
CHERMID supervises Bachelor and Master theses. We welcome students to propose their own topic within our area of expertise or the student can select one of our subjects.
SIMID Course
We organize an annual course for people who have an interest in quantitative research, and who want to learn about infectious disease models and health economic evaluations.
E.g. health economists, (bio)statisticians and mathematicians who want to expand their toolbox, al well as health science professionals who want to have a deeper understanding of cost-effectiveness analysis when it is applied to vaccines.
The course contains following topics:
- General introduction to R
- Mathematical models for infectious diseases
- Estimating infectious disease parameters for models
- Health economic evaluations
