Law and Development Research Network

Together with nine leading institutions in the field of law and development we launched the Law and Development Research Network (LDRN) on Friday 22 September 2017. The Network’s launch formalizes existing cooperation between these institutions, and is part of a concerted effort to build a strong law and development research community for the 21st century.

 

The nine partners formally signed the founding charter of the Law and Development Research Network (LDRN) on Friday 22 September 2017, at the University of Antwerp. The nine institutions are

  • the Institute for Human Rights at Åbo Akademi University (Finland)
  • the Research Group on Law and Development, University of Antwerp (Belgium)
  • the Universidad Austral, Escuela de Política, Gobierno y Relaciones Internacionales (Argentina)
  • the Law & Society Institute at the Law School of Humboldt University Berlin (Germany)
  • the Law and Global Justice group at Cardiff University (UK)
  • the Van Vollenhoven Institute for Law, Governance and Society at Leiden University (the Netherlands)
  • the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) of Erasmus University Rotterdam (the Netherlands)
  • the Tilburg University Law School (the Netherlands)
  • the School of Law, University of Warwick (UK)
