Automotive

The Op3Mech Automotive research focusses on the development of mathematical models of e.g. the suspension, tires and driveline to study vehicle handling problems. These models vary from the linear two-DoF vehicle model up to nonlinear multibody based vehicle models. The considered vehicle models are experimentally validated and calibrated applying accurate test procedures as described in the industrial ISO standards. In this process the following tools are frequently used:
