Amy Quintelier has been working as a PhD student since April 2016 at the Department of Training and Educational Sciences of the Faculty of Social Sciences (University of Antwerp). After obtaining her bachelor's degree in secondary education (2008 - KAHO St-Lieven, Sint-Niklaas), she worked as a geography and natural sciences teacher in secondary education. During the final year of her career as a teacher, she also obtained a Masters in Training and Educational Sciences (2015 - University of Antwerp). Within her PhD, she does investigate cognitive and affective processes in teachers that are relevant to the acceptance of feedback during a school screening. In addition, Amy is also co-author of the book "Zicht op leerwinst: Scenario's voor gestandaardiseerd toetsen" that was published in 2017.
