About Carmen Delgado

Carmen Delgado received the M.Sc. in telecommunications engineering and M.Sc. degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Zaragoza, Spain, in 2013 and 2014, respectively. In 2018, she obtained her Ph.D. (cum laude) in Mobile Network Information and Communication Technologies at the Communication Networks and Information Technologies for e-Health and quality of Experience Group (CeNITEQ) of the University of Zaragoza, Spain. In 2016 she did a visit research at the Advanced Network Technologies LABoratory (ANT Lab) of the Politecnico di Milano. She is currently working in the Internet Technology and Data Science Lab (IDLab) of the University of Antwerp, Belgium as a post-doctoral researcher. She is also a senior researcher at the imec research institute.

 

 

Research Interests

Her main research interests lie in the field of wireless sensor networks, Internet of Things, resource allocation, battery-less sensors, energy harvesting, low power communications, energy modeling and performance evaluation of wireless sensor networks.
