Eva Kyndt is an associate professor at the department for Training and Education Sciences. In 2011 she defended her doctoral dissertation in the field of educational sciences at the KU Leuven. During her doctoral study she investigated which personal characteristics and context factors were important for students’ approaches to learning within higher education.
Next to her research within the context of higher education, Eva Kyndt also focused on the learning and development of employees. Her current research combines educational and psychological perspectives in het area of Human Resource Development & Management. Specific research topics include but are not limited to ‘informal learning of employees’, ‘the transition from education to work’, ‘participation in formal learning activities’ and ‘transfer of training’.
