Franziska Kupfer (°1982, Rostock, Germany) is assistant professor and academic director of C-MAT, the Centre for Maritime and Air Transport Management, as well as post-doc researcher at the Department of Transport and Regional Economics. In her position as a post-doc/assistant professor she is responsible for (co-)teaching different courses on air transport, airport management, transport economics and transport policy. Her research interests include air transport and airport economics as well as general transport economics. In the past she was involved in a number of air transport related projects such as EDUCAIR (FP7, 2011-2013) and Air transport in the EU: current situation and trends (European Parliament, 2014). Franziska obtained her PhD on the airport choice for scheduled freighter operations in Europe at the University of Antwerp in 2012 and her master’s degree in 2007. From 2013 to 2015 she was also the programme coordinator of the Advanced Master in Maritime Sciences and Master in Sea and Transport Law (taught in Dutch).

Update: The office hour of Tuesday, 19th December will take place between 13h and 14h.
In January, there will be only one office hour, which will take place on Wednesday, 10th January between 14h and 15h. Afterwards there will be no office hours due to maternity leave.
