Ivan Cardenas (°1983) is a postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Transport and Regional economics, Antwerp University where he is in charge of the Urban Logistics research. He has an engineering degree in industrial engineering, a Master of Science in Logistics, and PhD in applied economics. Besides urban logistics, his interest and expertise are transport simulation and mathematical modelling. His Ph.D. dissertation was on the network design of pick-up points networks for e-commerce in urban logistics. More recently he had been working in transport modelling for projects in the region of Flanders, Belgium.
