I am passionate about designing future proof, sustainable energy systems. This passion drives both my research activities, focussed on electricity storage in decentralised grids and possible future energy mixes, as well as my educational activities, where I teach energy economics at a master level and supervise dissertations in the fields of energy and sustainability. My approach is an inherently multi-disciplinary one, as I draw on both economic and engineering knowledge to build solid scientific models, aimed at supporting energy policy.
