I have a MSc in product development and am a doctoral researcher at the product development research group. I am currently doing a PhD, examining the parameters that determine success or failure of alternatives for single-use plastics. I did several multidisciplinary projects. One in collaboration with SPHERE (Systemic Physiological and Ecotoxicological Research - department of biology) and another one with CRESC (Centre for Research on Environmental and Social Change - department of sociology).

My interest and expertise are related to ecodesign and design for a circular economy. More specific, I focus on usage, consumer acceptance, and development of alternatives for single-use plastics. For my master's dissertation, I collaborated with Camilla C. Carteny (SPHERE) in developing a filter for washing machines that tackles microfibre pollution released by synthetic clothes. (FIBIO)
