Under the motto “Tell us your Antwerp Summer/Winter University stories through photography” we invite all participants of our summer or winter schools to participate in our photo contest! This is a great opportunity to offer the Antwerp Summer and Winter University community a visual glimpse into your experience, so feel free to be as as you'd like!
How does it work?
To participate, we ask you to share a picture that captures your Antwerp Winter University experience in the most unique way. It is possible to participate on Instagram or LinkedIn.

- Post a photo on your profile using #AntwerpWinterUniversity (or #AntwerpSummerUniversity in summer) and tagging @antwerpsummeruniversity. If your account is private, please send us a DM with screenshot as proof.

The photo contest is only open to Antwerp Summer and Winter University 2024 participants.
The photo contest for the winter schools ends on 9 February 2024 at 10 AM (local time). All photos posted after this time will not be considered.
The winner of the photo contest will be announced on 9 February 9, 2024, and will be contacted to collect the prize on this day.
What is the prize?
One prize winner will be selected based on the creativity, originality, vivacity, and story of the photo and will win an Antwerp Summer and Winter University hoodie.
Submission requirements
- By entering the photo contest, you give us permission for your photo to be used in Antwerp Summer and Winter University print and online publications and marketing initiatives. In addition, you declare your understanding of the contest rules. The University of Antwerp or the Antwerp Summer and Winter University Office is not responsible or liable for any submission problems. Incomplete submissions or photos that do not meet the requirements will not be included in the contest.
- Make sure people in the photos have given permission for you to take their image and have it published on social media, ASWU and the summer/winter school print publications, and other media outlets.
- If selected as a winner, we will request the highest resolution of your winning photos for publication. As posting to social media often degrades a photo's resolution, please be sure to save the original photo of any entry you post.
