What

The Children´s Literature Summer School offers plenary lectures, workshops and optional excursions related to books for children and adolescents. Participants choose workshops from four thematic strands: Childhood studies, Classics of Children's Literature I, Classics of Children's Literature II, and Research Methods.

Who

This summer school is mainly targeted at Master and PhD students, but also open to more senior researchers and professionals with an interest in children’s literature studies. Participants should have at least completed 3 full years of undergraduate education (BA level) by the time of the summer school.

Credits

3-6 ECTS. Note that University of Antwerp students can only register for 6 ECTS.

Registration fee

€500

Early bird: €450

Fee includes course material, coffee breaks, 5 lunches, opening and closing reception and a farewell dinner. It does not include accommodation and dinners. 

Scholarships

University of Antwerp students are entitled to a refund of €150.

Limited number of reduced fees of €50 available for recognised refugees.
