Postgraduate of Dutch as a Foreign Language in an Academic Context


All candidates must submit a complete application and pay the advance fee of EUR 1500 before acceptance can be granted. For academic year 2018-2019, students can register from 4 December 2017 onwards. The application procedure consists of six steps.

Step 1: Application + advance payment

Step 2: Interview

Students whose application file is accepted will receive an invitation for an interview via Skype, the purpose of which is to evaluate the applicant’s familiarity with the programme and their level of English, which at least needs to be at an intermediate level (CEFR B1).

Step 3: Providing legalised documents

The applicant provides documents that allow us to verify the authenticity of the degree(s), transcripts and translations.

Step 4: Letter of Acceptance

A personalised letter of acceptance will be issued.

Step 5: Payment enrolment fee

After arriving in Belgium, and before the programme starts, students must make an appointment with Ms Christa Huygen, student administration officer at Linguapolis, for administrative follow-up and payment of the remaining enrolment fee.

Step 6: Admission letter

After successfully completing all the previous steps, students will be issued with a personalised Letter of Admission, which can be used for registration with the municipality.
