Over Nola Cammu

Nola Cammu obtained an MA in Law at the University of Brussels (VUB) in 2014 and an MA in Gender, Media and Culture at the Art College of Goldsmiths, London, in 2015. In 2016 she joined the University of Antwerp Law faculty to work on a PhD concerning the socio-legal construction of multiparenthood in Flanders and the Netherlands. In her PhD project she takes an ethnographic, multi-disciplinary stance by combining traditional law methods with social sciences and gender studies methods. In addition, she is a member of A*, the interdisciplinary Antwerp Gender and Sexuality Studies Network of University of Antwerp. She was a visiting scholar at the Preventive Youth Care Group (Pedagogical Sciences Department) of the University of Amsterdam in 2018. In the spring of 2019 she conducted a research visit at the Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia, Canada.
