Immediately preceding ICHC 2015, a two day Summer School will be offered. The theme of the Summer School will be in keeping with the main theme of ICHC 2015.
The program enables the participants to acquaint themselves thoroughly in a short period of time with the most important heritage collections of the town of Antwerp. In historic and modern locations in town, various experts will give workshops and presentations, using original documents whenever possible.
The range of subjects is broad: from printed to hand drawn maps, from seventeenth century Bleau globes to Antwerp’s religious book production. Participants of the Summer School will also be given several tours through exhibitions that are open during the conference, mostly guided by the (guest)curators of these exhibitions.
The number of participants is limited to 20. Admittance will be in order of registration. For registration send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. After registration you will be informed about all further details and payment options. The registration will only be completed after reception of the required fee.
