Short description: CMT lecture presented by Dr Mehdi Neek-Amal from Shahid Rajaee University, Iran

In this lecture Dr Mehdi Neek-Amal will talk about monolayer of ice and will review some recent experiments on the topic. In particular, he will talk about electrically controlled water permeation through graphene nanocapillaries (Nature 559, 236–240 (2018)) and present molecular modeling and simulation results.
