Sara Vicca nominated for New Scientist Science Talent

Date: 23 August 2016

Introduction: Sara Vicca (UAntwerp) investigates the carbon cycle in land ecosystems.

Sara Vicca Global Change Ecology Excellence Centre (Research Group Plant and Vegetation Ecology) specifically investigates how carbon allocation in plants depends on the availability of the nutrients nitrogen and phosphorus. The storage of carbon in plants is highly dependent on these nutrients. Can plants and their nutrients help us in our fight against climate change, or will they worsen the warming?
