Human rights between normativity and reality

On Monday 10 July 2018, Vandenhole taught on the Summer Course organized by the University of Padua. This first edition of the Summer School on “Normativity and Reality of Human Rights” critically investigated the interplay between norms and facts about human rights, with a special focus on three topics: health, environment, and forced migrations.

The Law and Development Research Group has a strong partnership with the Human Rights Centre of the University of Padua. Students of the Antwerp LLM can go for a semester abroad to the University of Padua. Wouter Vandenhole also sits on the advisory board of the Peace Human Rights Governance Journal.
