Acland's Video Atlas of Human Anatomy

Introduction: From September 1st 2018 onwards the UAntwerp will have access to the online version of the Acland's Video Atlas of Human Anatomy.

From September 1ste 2018 onwards the UAntwerp will have an institutional subscription to the Acland's Video Atlas of Human Anatomy. This is the online version of the famous series of anatomy lessons presented by dr. Robert Acland.

In the Video Atlas anatomical structures and movements are illustrated in short video's of no more than 5 minutes using unembalmed human specimens. It also offers online exams for self-testing (a personal account is required - no additional charge).

The link to the Video Atlas is added to the catalogue and the overview of databases on the library's website. Access is arranged by IP recognition and is granted automatically on campus. For off campus access a VPN connection is necessary. There are no limits on the number of concurrent users.
