UAntwerp achieves an excellent score at the Eduniversal ranking 2019
24 July 2019
We are proud to announce that three of our programmes have been ranked.
Eduniversal is a global leader in higher education information. Each year, Master graduates fill in surveys on which the Eduniversal's widely recognized academic rankings are based.
For the second year in a row, the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Antwerp participated in and received a world ranking based on this survey. We are proud to announce that three of our programmes have been ranked:
- The Master in Maritime and Air Transport Management was ranked at position 22 in the ‘Maritime Management Top 50 Worldwide’.
- The Master in Business Economics was ranked at position 38 in the ‘Best Masters Economics Top 200 Worldwide’.
- The Master of Organisational Management (in Dutch: ‘Master organisatie en management’) was ranked at position 40 in the ‘Best Masters General Management Top 200 Worldwide’.

Master in Maritime and Air Transport Management
Maritime and Air Transport Management, a component in the field of study of Maritime Management, was ranked by Eduniversal for the first time. Important to notice is that our programme is the only Belgian one in this Top 50 worldwide.
Master in Business Economics
Business Economics improved its ranking compared to last year from position 48 to 38 and from 3 stars to 4. Because of this improvement, the University of Antwerp has been ranked as the top Flemish university in the ‘Best Masters Economics Top 200’, ahead of the KU Leuven.
Master of Organisational Management
Our Dutch Master of Organisational Management has been ranked in the ‘Best Masters General Management Top 200 Worldwide’ for the first time. The programme was ranked at position 40. We are the only Flemish university that managed to get one of the coveted spots on this list.
Prof. dr. Koen Vandenbempt (Dean Faculty of Business and Economics – UAntwerp): ‘We are proud that the hard and dedicated work of our teaching staff is appreciated by our Master graduates. This good ranking is, however, not a sign to slow down. We continue to improve and update our programmes every single day.’
