Funding for Intensive Training Programme on sustainable development and global justice

Gamze Erdem Türkelli, Liliana Lizarazo Rodriguez and Wouter Vandenhole, all members of the Law and Development Research Group, secured funding from VLIR-UOS for the organization of an international training programme (ITP) on sustainable development and global justice (SUSTJUSTICE) in 2020 and 2021. ITPs target professionals and academics from the South, and focus on capacity building. The ITP will be fully integrated into the Faculty of Law’s LL.M. programme (sustainable development and global justice module).

VLIR-UOS is a network of universities and university colleges in Flanders (Belgium) and supports partnerships between this network and the South, looking for innovative responses to global and local challenges.
