Conceptualising 'Capacity Development' in Development Policy

Introduction: On Friday 18 September 2020, Dr. Pascal Sundi Mbambi has successfully defended his dissertation entitled: Conceptualising 'Capacity Development' in Development Policy: a Case Study of the DRC-UNICEF 'Village Assaini' Programme in Kongo Central, DRC.

Before a jury made up of Prof. Dr. Dirk De Bièvre (Chair, UAntwerp), Prof Dr. Wouter Vandenhole (Secretary, UAntwerp), Prof Dr. Ellen Desmet (Ugent), Prof Dr. Fons Coomans (Maastricht University), Dr.  Sylvie Ayimpam (Aix-Marseille Université), and his two supervisors (Prof. Dr. Gert VERSCHRAEGEN, Faculty of Social Sciences; Prof. Dr. Koen DE FEYTER, Law Faculty), Pascal Sundi Mbambi has successfully defended his dissertation entitled: “Conceptualising 'Capacity Development' in Development Policy: A Case Study of the DRC-UNICEF 'Village Assaini' Programme in Kongo Central, DRC” on Friday 18 September 2020. He has thus fulfilled all requirements as prescribed and obtained the title of doctor in the Social Sciences: Political Science.
