3. Course contents *

During integrated practical chemistry and food technology you will get familiar with the physical and chemical aspects of catalysis. These aspects will be studied during the experiments and increase the insights gained about syntheses and working principles. This knowledge is extended by also focusing on analogue aspects that occur in biocatalysis but equally on the great differences that exist between the two forms.
Finally, during the courses, focus will be drawn towards the wide variety in resources and which chemical, physical and/or biological characteristics they have and how they can be used within the food industry.
